【Test Cards】How to Use the Keyboard

On Windows and Chromebook, you can create questions using keyboard operations.

Note: iPad support is planned for a future update.

Action Shortcut

Move to the next element Tab

Move to the previous element Shift + Tab

Select a menu item Enter / Space

Move to main elements (text input field, question type ↓ / ↑

selection, add question/choices)

Switch between vertical/horizontal options After selecting an element, use ↓ / ↑ / ← / →

Close a popup window Esc

Make selected text bold Ctrl + B ※

Underline selected text Ctrl + U ※

Enter equation input mode Ctrl + M ※ (when cursor is in an equation-enabled field)

Add a choice Ctrl / Shift + Enter ※

※ On Mac, use the Command key instead of Ctrl.
